MAGO THE MAGICIAN

KIDS MAGIC, BALLOON ARTIST

Mago

mogo

My name is Lionel Piché, a.k.a. Mago the Magician. Before talking about my magic, let me tell you a little bit about myself.

Originally from La Broquerie, I moved to Winnipeg in 1977 to study at St. Boniface College where I completed an Arts degree. I then finished my Phys. Ed. degree in 1984 and my B. Ed. degree in 1986. I taught four years at the elementary level and nine years at the high school level.

After getting married in 1997, I quit teaching to become a stay-at-home dad. Since I always enjoyed the magic and I wanted to stay in touch with kids I decided to become a magician. I also make balloon animals and teach juggling.

I'm able to adapt my magic shows for all ages. I've done many daycare centers but I've also performed for several senior groups.

I believe my professional training as a teacher helps me communicate well during my performances, and I'm comfortable in front of any size group.

Bringing joy into people's hearts also brings joy to my heart. And we all know what they say, "Laughter is the best medicine."

Sincerely,

Lionel Piché
