Gerry "Big Bear" Barrett

Gerry "Big Bear" Barrett is an Indigenous, award-winning Broadcaster, Stand-up Comedian and Elvis Tribute Artist.

In 2013, Gerry performed in Washington D.C. at an inaugural event for President Barack Obama.

While most of Gerry's bookings are for comedy and Elvis Tribute Shows, he is regularly requested to present at schools and youth conferences.

Gerry's presentation is titled, "Yes I Can", and it's his inspirational story of being a child born on the reservation, a 60's Scoop Survivor, and an adoptee, who went on to become a popular radio and television personality. His 60-minute school presentation includes storytelling, information handouts, a colouring project for the younger ones, humour, and live music.
