Dee Dee is an International Award Winning Face & Body Painter and Balloonist. She only uses the highest quality cosmetic-grade products for face painting and is one of the fastest painters around.

Mime, Physical Comedy

Ridiculous, inventive, and inspired by the fantasies of a child, the two performers of 2Phoria use their combined 60+ years as physical comedy professionals to lead the audience through a hilarious romp of transformations and dreams come true. Two ridiculous humble workers become glamorous circus performers and fabulous illusionists, at least in their minds. This interactive physical comedy show is at home on outdoor festival stages or indoor theatres and is the brainchild of Ardyth Johnson and Brian Foley. With multiple appearances at festivals on four continents and television programs such as Shining Time Station and Sesame Street, these award-winning clowns have been called "The Perfect Comedy Partners", "Absolutely Hilarious", and "A Dazzling Display". 20-40 minute modular show is appropriate for all ages, and non-English speakers.

Ardyth first trained with mime artist Adrian Pecknold at The Manitoba Theatre School in Winnipeg and then received a scholarship with The Manitoba Theatre Centre to further her studies with Mime Unlimited School of Physical Theatre (Jacque Le Coq, Principal Ron East) in Toronto (graduate), plus other masters of Mime, Corporeal Mime, Commedia Dell' Arte, Clown, Bouffon, Movement Studies. Slapstick, Stage Combat, Mask and Comedy. Ardyth holds a B.A in Theatre Studies from the University of Winnipeg and a graduate with Second City Conservatory.  Ardyth has toured throughout North America with Mime Unlimited, Theatre Beyond Words and many other professional companies. Ardyth performs, writes and directs under her Physically Speaking Company. Ardyth since 1987 has regularly performed Classic Mime , Charlie Chaplin, “Beth Hickadilly” (a medieval character) at festivals, corporate events and many more venues. When Ardyth is not performing, she is busy teaching as an arts educator in physical theatre, plus workshops all over Canada and Internationally.

I have been clowning around Winnipeg and area off and on for near 17 years from the first time I tried to juggle.

Balloon Twisting: My bread and butter, my best and favourite skill to use and share. I can make anything from the classic dogs and flowers to Mickey Mouse and Spongebob Squarepants. If we can find a picture I will likely try to make it. My motto with balloons is I'll try anything once, twice if you feed me.

Walkaround: Add colour and merriment to any event with the fun of a clown. Whether it is juggling for the masses, performing close magic for a group or just interacting with your patrons in line, Sleepy is sure to light up the crowd and surroundings.

Birthday Party Fun: For a birthday party I like to offer a twenty-minute shoe fill with magic, juggling and good old clown comedy. Following that, I will make balloons for all those wanting one plus an extra special piece for the birthday child.

Stage Shows: Sleepy brings his whole box of tricks to the stage! An expanded show of 30-40 minutes includes juggling, magic and clown comedy. Fun for the whole family and the entire audience. AS performed at Kids Fringe and several venues across Manitoba.

Squire Lawrie has been delighting audiences of all ages for the last 20 years combining his many skills and talents to make any event a special memory. His combination of magic and laughter has been fine-tuned over the years.

Squire is best known as a stilt walker and juggler. He is also one of the world's fastest balloon sculpturers. You can find him performing these delightful services anywhere, roving through a country fair or street party, striding head above the crowd at a parade, entertaining at some delighted child's birthday party, or adding a little extra laughter at a business convention. Squire Lawrie has thrilled and entertained audiences throughout the US and Canada.

In addition to his magic and juggling, he is also a terrific face painter and can help organize and run games for your events. He can also conduct juggling workshops and has taught young and old- anyone willing to try from businessmen at a time management convention to shoppers at a popular book store. Just be warned; never say "I can't" to Squire!

Squire Lawrie the Storyteller:

Dawning his colourful jester costume, he gets children involved in an interactive story. He is known for his contagious enthusiasm and unlimited patience and intuitive understanding of children. His belief that providing a little extra effort to his work makes him a welcome addition to any gathering!
