NATASHIA MOODIE

Natashia Moodie is a talented Cree mother of three who was named a Manitoba for Human Rights Hero in December 2018 and is from the Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation. She and her sister, Alexandria Moodie, are the acclaimed Moody x 2, with 6 full-length albums and a brand new single being released in Feb 2020! Together, they’ve shared stages with Buffy Sainte Marie, Tom Jackson, Susan Auglugark, Kieth Secola and the Wild Band of Indians, Highway 101, Black Hawk, Little Texas, Honeymoon Suite and The Stampeders, and many others; Moody x 2 continues to make new music and music videos available on YouTube and iTunes.

Natashia is available for school readings of her books and to share her message about her culture and the first nation’s perspectives on climate change.
